Fun times at Arataki

The students in Rooms 6, 7 and 8 were so excited on 27th of June when the long bendy bus arrived with a hiss to take them to Arataki. We are learning about the lifecycle of a leaf.

We got on the bus and then I sat with my friends Washington, Tuki, Kosha and the bus was moving away. After a long time we arrived at Arataki, we stopped and got off.  I saw how our long bus was as I walked to have morning tea.

We want in to a workshop where we were learning about a life cycle of a leaf. And then she told us that worms go chew, chew, poo, poo, to make leaves into soil.

Then we went outside and went around the loop track on a bug hunt. We found hoppers and spiders and I saw big trees and little shrubs.

I think it was really fun you should come to Arataki to learn all about the life cycle of a leaf.
